I believe I remarked earlier that I suspect the grandparents of assisting with the cover-up. Well, here's today's news.

As investigators in Florida seek answers in the Caylee Anthony murder case, the grandparents of the girl are asking for immunity when questioned, the Orlando Sentinel reported Wednesday.

A lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony reportedly asked that the couple be protected when questioned by prosecutors regarding the case, the Sentinel reported. At this point, no deal has been set.

Caylee Anthony, who would have turned 3 in August, was reported missing on July 15, about a month after the girl was last seen. Her whereabouts were a mystery until skeletal remains were found by a meter reader earlier this month about half a mile from George and Cindy Anthony’s home.

Caylee’s mother, Casey Anthony, remains jailed on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter and four counts of lying to investigators about the disappearance of her daughter. Her trial is set to begin in March.

Cindy and George Anthony have said they plan a private memorial and funeral for their granddaughter and have no plans to visit their daughter in an Orange County jail. Investigators told the Sentinel that further questioning of the Anthonys would wait until after the funeral.

ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 18) -

Skeletal remains found in the woods are the Florida 3-year-old who has been missing since June, but they don't reveal any clues about how she was killed, a county medical examiner said Friday. A utility worker stumbled upon the remains last week, less than a half-mile from where the girl lived. DNA tests confirm that the remains match Caylee Anthony's genetic profile, said the medical examiner, Dr. Jan Garavaglia.
Caylee's mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, was indicted in October on first-degree murder and other charges, even though no body was found. She has insisted that she left the girl with a baby sitter in June, but she didn't report her missing until July.

Also In July, police released recordings of two calls Anthony's mother, Cindy, made to 911. In one, Cindy said a car driven by Anthony smelled as if it had carried a corpse.
"There's something wrong," she told a dispatcher July 15. "I found my daughter's car today, and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car." Now we know: Caycee killed Caylee the day she left her parents home during that big argument and insisted taking Caylee with her, against her parents wishes.
Caycee carried her daughters corpse around in a garbage bag for a period of time during July, probably contemplating where and when she would bury the remains.

DURING THE TIME THAT CAYLEE'S REMAINS WERE IN MOM'S CAR, MOM WAS PARTYING AND DRINKING AS IF LIFE WAS A BOWL OF CHERRIES AND SHE WAS MAKING A FREAKING FRUIT SALAD!! THIS PIC OF CAYCEE WAS TAKEN ON JULY 4th,2008: CAYLEE WAS ALREADY DEAD AND IN THE GARBAGE BAG IN HER TRUNK AT THIS TIME, AND SHE HAD NOT EVEN REPORTED HER MISSING YET. IN THIS PHOTO YOU ARE SEEING A 22 YR.OLD WOMAN WHO HAS MURDERED HER OWN CHILD WITHIN THE LAST WEEK AND A HALF PARTYING AND LOOKING LIKE A HO, NOT EVEN FEELING ANY REMORSE OVER KILLING HER OWN CHILD.THE BABY IS DEAD IN THE DAMN TRUNK WHILE SHE'S POSING FOR THIS PIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caycee then buried her daughters corpse in the wooded area by the utility pole and went on with living her life as she always had, continuing to lie to her parents and to police about her daughters possible where-about's.

Investigators are looking into whether police properly followed up on Kronk's tips, which were called in Aug. 11, 12 and 13.

A childhood friend of Caylee's mother also told police to investigate the same wooded area a month before the meter reader found little Caylee's skeletal remains.

According to the documents released by prosecutors, a pregnant Anthony -- 19 when Caylee was born -- wanted a friend to adopt her baby, but her mother wouldn't hear of it. They Found Caylee's Body, Details Here

The meter reader found what they believe to be Caylee's body, with duct tape over the mouth in a garbage bag in the brush in Florida nearby a work site. Bones were also found. Forensic scientists are expected to determine by either evidence of stab wounds or bone fractures- or by just the tape they will determine she was suffocated- the duct tape also tells us the child was silenced. The soft tissue over the mouth also can tell us whether the child was alive for a time and struggling, or not. Because the body was found in a previously searched area during a flooding time and not found when the waters were high, the defense is going to try to say that the body was placed there after Caycee was in custody and therefore Caycee is innocent.

Caycee is officially charged with murder, premeditated, one, at this point and is on psychological watch in her cell- yeah right, as if she is going to kill HERSELF? She is far too selfish to do that; she wanted Caylee dead so her life could go on and she could party and be free of responsibility. She is not going to kill herself, she obviously cares more about making her life all it could be than even her own child...

Caycee's parents have insisted all along that Caylee is alive, and that she would be found. I can only imagine their grief at this time.

Prosecutors now say that they WILL seek the death penalty for Caycee in light of this new evidence.

I am pleased that Caylee's remains were not found melted down to nothing in the garbage bag, because now the bones and remaining skin cells can be tested for DNA and for signs of trauma and evidence of what happened to Caylee in the last hours of her life. The garbage bag that smelled so horribly in the trunk of Caycee's car WAS next to where Caylee's body was stored, for a time, in the trunk until Caycee dumped her daughters body in that brush. The duct tape and possible chloroform poisoning suggest that Caycee may have drugged Caylee to get her to pass out, taped her mouth to keep her silenced if she came to too soon, and then she either suffocated her to death or beat her to death- probably suffocated her to death- and put her body in a garbage bag and put her in the trunk; she was obviously in there for at least a day or two because there was evidence of decomposing human flesh that has leaked into the carpet covering in the trunk of Caycee's car.

I hope and pray that Caylee was suffocated in her 'sleep' as horrible as that is to say because that way she would have suffered the least as her own mother murdered her.

I will not give up on this case. I will follow the way Caylee is brought to justice, and I will pray for Caycee's soul when they put her to death. She is only 22 years old, not even 24 as previously reported. She had Caylee when she was 21. I had my first child when I was 19 and he is 13 now; I will never ever be able to understand how a mother could kill her own child so that she could be free; I still liked to go out and wished I could have more when I was 20 and 21 and 22, but you know what- I loved my child enough to sacrifice for her good and did not go out as often as I would have been able to if I did not have him. But then, I am not mentally ill. And it is clear that Caycee has been for a long time. The defense is not seeking an insanity plea, curiously- and I wonder why. Anyone have an suspicions as to why they aren't?

On the same day she later borrowed a shovel from the neighbors!

This case has got to come to justice: On the wake of Prosecutors just releasing that they will NOT seek the death penalty for Caycee Anthony, this new information is released to the news.

If prosecutors are hoping that not pursuing the death penalty will bring Caylee to feel safe to talk, my opinion is that they don't know who/what they are dealing with. Caycee will NEVER tell the truth and NEVER incriminate herself; she is still hoping that she will be proven INNOCENT with time since, as she believes, 'no evidence will ever be found, enough to convict her.' Caycee is a conniving, cold-blooded killer. The only was to get her to give and talk is to SEPERATE her from this Media Zoo- she will break under the weight of Solitary Confinement. She would go mad. Put her in a tiny dark cell by herself with only pictures of Caylee and a Bible, and a flashlight and let her deal with HERSELF.

Keep her in a room all by herself, for days on end till she cracks...then lock the bit*h up and throw away the key! Or better yet, bury her alive!

They will have to come up with enough evidence to charge her with the murder. Then they will offer her a plea deal where she will probably spend life in prison with no chance of parole if she admits guility and tells police where the body is (pleas guilty) as opposed to possibly facing the death penatly. That is if Florida has the death penalty. It will have to do with some sort of plea deal though. She won't just admit it now.

Keep doing what they are doing. Arrest her 1 charge at a time... Make her life hell. I'm am of the stance that we will one day hear that she has committed suicide. She's a complete freak and I feel very sorry for that little girl. I don't think we will ever know what happened to her. Sadly.

i believe they should send her up the river for the fraud,while they come up with all the neccessary evidence to convict her over caylee,i think if she was facing the death penalty she would talk and fast too,believing she could get a deal

Why they don't put her in solitary is beyond me---that girl is crazy as the day is long, if they lock her up with only her own mind to deal with then she will CRACK and start talking within a month, my opinion....

too many politics....CNN is posting her bails, Mom won't talk, Dad tell a lot but not all (he's holding SOMETHING back, he wants her caught, but not because of him, in my opinion-) The Cops don't have enough evidence- what the HE#LL is that???? They have the internet searches, borrowing a shovel, a burnt spot on the lawn at parent's home where she is living, decomposition in her trunk, stealing gas from her Dad, not reporting your kids missing for over a month???? no emotion when daughter is MISSING???
Let's stop trying to be so PC in America folks, trying to be so dam PC is making us pansies, and STUPID. We don't need any more evidence! If she was black she would have been convicted by now. It's true. Just 'sayin. That's the world we live in!!!

Why can't they arrest that woman already? Let's review some things, anything fishy here to you?

1- Your 2 yr. old is missing and you wait a month to report it?

2- You supposedely left her with someone, you didn't know there name or anything.......what!

3- In her car, they found SCIENTIFIC evidence of a decomposing body. Everyone puts bodies in their trunk and lets them decompose, nothing unusual there......

4- Her parents had a gas can stolen from their garage...

5- There was a alleged burnt spot in her parents yard...

6- And the mother won't talk. If you didn't do it, then where the F#ck is she. Just tell us.

Let's keep making excuses for this and younger generations. Too many slaps on the wrist. You know, a good ole fashion willow stick and belt and I figured it out real quick. But now thats child abuse....

Wasn't she arrested, and bailed out? Or am i thinking of another story? They had the sort of immunity deal on the table, and took it back. While it supposedly wasn't going to do the mom much good, she's even more screwed now. She isn't the brightest person, and her master plan wasn't too well thought out. She's screwed, and she's just praying that the Police screw it up.

Why not drive the kid a couple states over, and drop her off at a church or something? What could she possibly have done to deserve being murdered? What kind of FREAK can kill their own child, and act like its no big loss?

I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV but without a body I don't know how good the prosecution's case would be.

This whole thing sucks. The guy looking from the oustide in on this whole thing, Jesse, used to work with my wife before moving down to Orlando after she told him he was the dad - which now I think she told him that he isn't. She is an effed up chick.

She is! I hope it rains down a big pile of **** right on top of her head. I can't imagine a parent being so self absorbed that she won't help the police find her daughter. Or just admit that it was an accident or something. She is a real POS and I hope she gets what is coming to her.

8. They found evidence on her computer of someone searching the internet for information on how to use chloroform.

oh..didn't hear about those also. I understand there is no body, and I am neither an attorney or investigator, but all these add up to GUILTY to me.

I have an 11 yr. old son, I know where he is 24/7, and if I didn't I'd want to know where he is. She won't tell for a reason, because she's guilty. Throw the POS in a whole, in the sun and leave her!

Some of these blog comments included info that was new to me, so I did some investigation and it turns out it's all TRUE.

I am even MORE disgusted about what Caycee Anthony did to her daughter Caylee now!!

God would have to restrain me Himself if I was her judge; thank God I didn't become a Criminal Judge because I would send her butt to jail FOREVER not give her the easy out of execution, unless of course the plan was to put her to death the exact way she put little Caylee to death!! I say forget the maximum security and send her into an isolated, solitary confinement cell where she can drive herself even more mad in the throes of her craziness, get 2 sqaures a day and have NO contact with people she could manipulate and get stuff out of, including family and other inmates who may fall prey to her calculations.

Just thinking about how she weaved so many lies, masterminded this elaborate plan for how to KILL Caylee and dispose of her remains makes me SICK.

If I wasn't a Christian, I would honesty say that I hoped she would rot in Hell for what she has done. But, as a sinner deserving of Hell myself and saved only through Grace and because of God's mercy, then I have NO RIGHT to say such a thing as that. I can only trust God's word and His promise that Vengeance Is His.
Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord.... God help you, Caycee, literally- God alone could help your @ss now. I pray that she repents confesses and accepts salvation or she will not only be paying for her crimes during this lifetime, she will be paying for them for an eternity in Hell.......

FBI tapes released from Caycee Anthony's Parents( George & Cindy Anthony) Interrogations and Mom and Dad's information SCARY!

Caycee's Father says on the FBI's interrogation tapes that he and another man opened the trunk after reports of the horrible smell got to the Dad; Dad says that inside the trunk was:
1.a white kitchen-size trash bag, full of:
2.a large pizza box, no evidence of pizza leftovers inside-completely full of maggots.
3. An Arm & Hammer Large Laundry Detergent Container full of "some kind of putrid smelling liquid."

Dad says that the other guy puts his hand in the bag and pulls out the Arm & Hammer jug saying "This is where your smells coming from" and he proceeds to walk approx. 30 feet away from the car to a nearby dumpster, and pour out all of the liquid into the dumpster. Dad says that he did see a stain where the spare tire would be under the trunk cover, not circular and says he can't describe the shape of it, says that it was horrid smelling and that it was No Where Near where the kitchen garbage bag was found- the bag was in the corner of the trunk, off to the side. His daughter Caycee's ex-finacee's Father testifies that Caycee's Dad told him that he 'thought she(Caycee) had ripped off the wrong people, and he was afraid of what had happened to Caylee...'

Taking in all of that, all I can think is :
How in the H#LL can the Police say that they couldn't find the bags of trash that the mysterious liquid was dumped on????
The excuse of "Well, the trash men had already come and taken the trash in that dumpster away, so we couldn't find the bags" is BS!!! OF COURSE they could have found the bags!!!!
Add that to NBC paying Caycee's high-profile and Very Expensive Lawyer for exclusive rights to Caycee's pictures and information and the Police themselves acting Downright Stupid and Shady in investigating this case gets me all..... disgusted. And curious. WTH is going on here?

The Police did NO tests on Caycee's bathtub or utility sink, when they SHOULD have tested any container big enough to soak a small child's body in ; I truly suspect that Caycee murdered her child and soaked her body in acids to melt the flesh and muscles away into an easily disposable liquid, just as Dahmer did to the bodies of the young boys he murdered. I do not believe that the shovel she borrowed from a neighbor abd was seen going into the woods behind her house with by many neighbors was used to dig a grave for Caylee's body--- maybe she was searching for a place to dump Caylee's liquid remains, but she decided against those spots. Looks like the jack@ss with her Dad took care of that little problem for her when he dumped her remains into the dumpster!!
