This case has got to come to justice: On the wake of Prosecutors just releasing that they will NOT seek the death penalty for Caycee Anthony, this new information is released to the news.
If prosecutors are hoping that not pursuing the death penalty will bring Caylee to feel safe to talk, my opinion is that they don't know who/what they are dealing with. Caycee will NEVER tell the truth and NEVER incriminate herself; she is still hoping that she will be proven INNOCENT with time since, as she believes, 'no evidence will ever be found, enough to convict her.' Caycee is a conniving, cold-blooded killer. The only was to get her to give and talk is to SEPERATE her from this Media Zoo- she will break under the weight of Solitary Confinement. She would go mad. Put her in a tiny dark cell by herself with only pictures of Caylee and a Bible, and a flashlight and let her deal with HERSELF.

I am guessing taking the death penalty off the table has more to do with the lack of a body, them anything else.
1This sad case is precisely why I support the right to abortion.
From what I have heard, Caycee got pregnant at a young age, 17 or 18. I don't know whether she wanted to get an abortion, but I have heard that later she a married, long-term friend who could not have children, and wanted to adopt Caylee. Her mother/grandmother forbade it. It sounds as though Caycee spiraled downward after that, and I believe that she had some sort of mental break at that point.
I haven't been following the case closely, so if I'm wrong on the details, I apologize.

wish they could have kept the death penalty so she would give herself up. now she never will
3THIS IS CRAZY!! we all must do something! this woman is so guilty and the powers that be MUST do something - I do NOT want my tax dollars paying to keep this child killer alive and fed for years!! caylee fate should be her "mother's" fate!!!! (also 4 members??!!?? what is up with people?)
4You may be right, G-pa..... but now, the body has been found, with duct tape on it's mouth
Lain... this case, or any other case of child abuse is no reason to ever support more child abuse, in the form of abortion. I realize that not everyone feels- and forgive the language, I don't know how else to say the truth to make it any more palatable to people- that not everyone feels that murdering a baby is child abuse, yet it still is, whether they believe it is- or not. Plenty of folks don't believe that there is a real Heaven and a real Hell but that doesn't mean they aren't real!
bowow, I guess your right; we will probably never know the whole truth.
maye, I KNOW!! I am TOTALLY with you!! I even wondered how could only 4 people care about Caylee Anthony?????? But, not everyone follows the case so, I just told myself that no one really knew about what had happened to her....? A part of me also does not want to pay to keep Caycee well fed and alive in a cell, but then I realize that the Holy Spirit in me testifies within my heart to God's way- and who am I to say my way is better than God's way? God would want Caycee to live and to have time to repent, for me( if I could) and other believers(who can) to reach out to her with the gospel and with the promise of forgiveness and freedom in Christ if only she will repent and wholly lean on God for her salvation and forgiveness, to bring her the gospel and for those of us who can't talk with her to pray for her and her soul. That's why I am complelled to, and I must, obey God and pray for her to be allowed to live-even though in my 'natural mind' a big part of me wants her to die in the same exact way Caylee had to die, honestly! I have even said that on here before. But, in the end, i do know that that is wrong- and Caycee is not a danger to society at large, that she should be put to death....she was just a danger to her daughter

5JaN, I would have preferred that the grandmother had allowed this poor baby to be adopted. She didn't deserve to be raised by an immature girl who didn't want her. There are several bad judgments here, all compounding each other.
I'm sad to hear today's news that the remains have been identified, but I think we all knew, anyway. At least now there is some solid evidence.

Me too, Lain- since they did such a crappy job with insisting on Caycee being a Mother and then allowing her to be such a crappy parent. I'm not sure what you mean about the several judgements all compounding, but I don't have any problem with
Adoption. And yes, we all knew Caylee's remains would most likely be found- but it doesn't make this day any less sad. I am very angry with Caycee and her Mother and Father. but even more sad for what Caylee had to go theough in life- and, as I keep on saying, I hope that Caycee comes to repentance in jail before the put her to death for her crimes.

7i hope you rot in hell casey!!!!!! and i am sorry for the grandparents but give me a break,i am 800 miles from my grandchild and if i don't hear from them at least twice a week i'm going crazy wondering whats wrong.much less having him right there like caylee was,and casey lying and the smell in the car.i would not want to believe that my child would do that either but wake up, theres no doubt and i would do what i had to do for my grandchild.casy is a liar and i pray that she gets what she deserves.
8why was there duck tape on her mouth? maybe to stop the screaming.think about it.it breaks my heart to think about what this sweet baby went through.i am so sad about it.and whether people want to believe it or not even these grandparents have been protecting the very person that did this.and if you believe they didn't know that she did it,wake up.they lied to,to protect her, yes, thats their daughter but a baby was killed, their grandbaby.that would come first to most of us.i am just blown away that these grandparents knowing that a dead body had been in that car,and they knew it,still stood by her and let her keep lying and did not help the police.please, caylee was found where caycee buried her pets, where animals ate on her body.am i the only one who feels this way? i am angry, and i am sad,and i want justice for this precious baby girl.
9JaN, by "several bad judgments", I mean that:
(1) Casey lacked a bit of discretion in getting pregnant in the first place, when she obviously did not want a child. I wonder whether there were some issues with her upbringing, excessively permissive parenting. If my teenage daughter was doing the party circuit, I would know about it. (OTOH, some kids are good at sneaking out, or ditching school.) I'd like to know more about that household over the last ten years. I suspect there were several issues with her upbringing that contributed to her later actions.
(2) She *could* have had an abortion (whether we agree with that option or not).
(3) She could have put the child up for adoption immediately at birth.
(4) She could have insisted on going through with the adoption with her high school friend. Since she was over 18, there's not much her parents could have done about any of those choices, other than kick her out of the house.
I suspect that each time Casey was thwarted in getting rid of her child, she got a little more desperate and a little crazier. In some ways I believe her case is a bit like Andrea Yates, in that she was forced into parenthood and did not see any viable options or ways to avoid her situation.
I'm not excusing Casey; I believe her parents should share some of the blame.

Songbird, you said "i am angry, and i am sad,and i want justice for this precious baby girl." I know how you feel, I feel exactly the same way.

11lain, I agree somewhat- but def. not with the abortion part. Adoption, yes that should have happened- but abortion is never the answer, IMO. As far as Caycee not knowing of any other options I don't believe that in this day and age and with having friends and getting out in the world as well as going online regularily- the information powerhouse of the world--that we can say that caycee did not know of any other options and got crazy and went for murdering her kid because she could not access other info. to come up with a better plan- BULLSHIZZLE. She went online and Googled 4 times the day she killed Caylee; she looked up How to Commit a Murder. How to Bury a Body. Neck-Breaking. And Suffocation. She COULD HAVE looked up Giving Away a Baby, Out of State Adoption Services,Catholic Charities and Orphanages, Foster Care, ANYTHING- hell people drop off their kids at the emergency room and never come back, she could have driven 6 hours away and left Caylee at a hospitol in some other state and no one would have recognized her in that place, or been able to trace her, if she had worn a hood and glasses and temporarily covered her liscence plate with mudor something, and washed it off at some random spot before she drove back home, so that she wouldn't look suspicious..
