Why can't they arrest that woman already? Let's review some things, anything fishy here to you?
1- Your 2 yr. old is missing and you wait a month to report it?
2- You supposedely left her with someone, you didn't know there name or anything.......what!
3- In her car, they found SCIENTIFIC evidence of a decomposing body. Everyone puts bodies in their trunk and lets them decompose, nothing unusual there......
4- Her parents had a gas can stolen from their garage...
5- There was a alleged burnt spot in her parents yard...
6- And the mother won't talk. If you didn't do it, then where the F#ck is she. Just tell us.
Let's keep making excuses for this and younger generations. Too many slaps on the wrist. You know, a good ole fashion willow stick and belt and I figured it out real quick. But now thats child abuse....
Wasn't she arrested, and bailed out? Or am i thinking of another story? They had the sort of immunity deal on the table, and took it back. While it supposedly wasn't going to do the mom much good, she's even more screwed now. She isn't the brightest person, and her master plan wasn't too well thought out. She's screwed, and she's just praying that the Police screw it up.
Why not drive the kid a couple states over, and drop her off at a church or something? What could she possibly have done to deserve being murdered? What kind of FREAK can kill their own child, and act like its no big loss?

I'm not a lawyer and I don't play one on TV but without a body I don't know how good the prosecution's case would be.
This whole thing sucks. The guy looking from the oustide in on this whole thing, Jesse, used to work with my wife before moving down to Orlando after she told him he was the dad - which now I think she told him that he isn't. She is an effed up chick.
She is! I hope it rains down a big pile of **** right on top of her head. I can't imagine a parent being so self absorbed that she won't help the police find her daughter. Or just admit that it was an accident or something. She is a real POS and I hope she gets what is coming to her.
7. They found traces of chloroform in her car.
8. They found evidence on her computer of someone searching the internet for information on how to use chloroform.

oh..didn't hear about those also. I understand there is no body, and I am neither an attorney or investigator, but all these add up to GUILTY to me.
I have an 11 yr. old son, I know where he is 24/7, and if I didn't I'd want to know where he is. She won't tell for a reason, because she's guilty. Throw the POS in a whole, in the sun and leave her!
Some of these blog comments included info that was new to me, so I did some investigation and it turns out it's all TRUE.
I am even MORE disgusted about what Caycee Anthony did to her daughter Caylee now!!
God would have to restrain me Himself if I was her judge; thank God I didn't become a Criminal Judge because I would send her butt to jail FOREVER not give her the easy out of execution, unless of course the plan was to put her to death the exact way she put little Caylee to death!! I say forget the maximum security and send her into an isolated, solitary confinement cell where she can drive herself even more mad in the throes of her craziness, get 2 sqaures a day and have NO contact with people she could manipulate and get stuff out of, including family and other inmates who may fall prey to her calculations.
Just thinking about how she weaved so many lies, masterminded this elaborate plan for how to KILL Caylee and dispose of her remains makes me SICK.
If I wasn't a Christian, I would honesty say that I hoped she would rot in Hell for what she has done. But, as a sinner deserving of Hell myself and saved only through Grace and because of God's mercy, then I have NO RIGHT to say such a thing as that. I can only trust God's word and His promise that Vengeance Is His.
Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord.... God help you, Caycee, literally- God alone could help your @ss now. I pray that she repents confesses and accepts salvation or she will not only be paying for her crimes during this lifetime, she will be paying for them for an eternity in Hell.......

You are absolutely right. one thing, maximum security is in effect solitary confinement...23 hours/day. No radio, No TV, No newspapers, and severly limited books.

6I don't understand why anyone would kill their own child. There is so much evidence that Caycee did this, but why?! Shopping42, when Jesus said 'Do not judge lest ye be judged' He was talking to people about not forgiving other people who have repented- not saying that people cannot exercize judicial authority over other people who have broken the the law, or that lawmakers should not pursue justice; God is a God of Justice as well as Mercy- that's why I said we should all pray that Caycee repent and talk because she needs God's forgiveness in order to be spared from the consequences of her horrible act in eternity. I am plenty willing to forgive anyone who truly repents
and I am confident most others on this site are as well.... Caycee is unrepentant as of yet, and there is no body, no trace of 3 year old Caylee, therein lies the issue.....
kimanne, thank God she was being cared for by her grandparent's (Caylee's Mom & Dad) 90% of the time whenever they weren't at work, from what it sounds like. The sad thing is that Caycee gave Caylee to anyone who would watch her for cheap or for free during the days when her parents would be working. I have known some Caycee's in my lifetime, my x's sister Missy is one of them- she would happliy take welfare and food stamps to pay for her cocaine binges and ciggies, she would leave her kids (12 month old infant & 2 year old) alone in a crappy housing project apartment with the door locked while she went on her drug sprees for days- giving her alchoholic neighbor who had 6 kids by 6 different guys and now was a lesbian (can you say, confused at best?)the key to 'feed' her kids, well she would forget because she was high as a kite; she didn't feed her own kids- why would she feed her neighbors kids? The diff. was that, her kids were old enough to leave the house and eat at a neighbors or friends house, much as I had to do many times as a kid myself.
Needless to say, I am disgusted with child abusers. Neglect is JUST as horrible as punching a child in the stomach,it IS physical abuse- the pain of not eating is worse than a punch! If I at 18 years old could drive 45 minutes away from my town of residence to break into her ground-level apartment through shattering the glass of her bathroom's window and climb in to save her crying and scared babies, then her neighbors(who HAD to have heard SOMETHING) could have helped those kids, and her parents- who knew dam well that she was a neglectful,selfish and immature parent- could have made phone calls or driven over to check on their grandbabies(they lived in the SAME house as we did at the time) but nooooo, who's doing it? The only person who WOULD. That's what I'm saying; this case is just as much about finding Caylee as it is about Caycee's Mom & Dad's failure to report Caycee and help Caylee while she was still around!!! AND the failure of EVERYone else who knew, or suspected, and did NOTHING to help that baby. Disgusting. I have been on the recieving end of abuse, on the end of being the helper and advocate for kids who are being abused, and been on the side of the law trying to prosecute abusive parents and protect their children. Let me tell you, the laws as they are today make it harder to convict a child abuser than it would be to convict a shiplifter.

cupcakers, who knows why she would do this? we can only speculate? I have my suspicions; I'm sure you have yours. It sure seems to me that Caycee wanted to be rid of her little 'problem' Caylee; she couldn't live the free-life she desired to live now that she's been fighting with her parents and had to leave their home; around the clock childcare availability was gone the moment she did that, and, she sure wouldn't leave Caylee with her Parents who loved the girl, noooo she had to punish them by taking Caylee with her; get them because Caylee loved them and showed affection for THEM, whereas she showed none towards her Mom Caycee (I wonder why!) My best guess is, she wanted to be free of Caylee without having to give her to her parents, and since she didn't have a father for Caylee who would take her (if she even truly knew who the father was, since it came out now that she told Caylee's father- her x finacee- that she'd lied when she told him he was the father-that's coming from Caycee's x and his parents recently-) then her 'only option' was to either give her away, sell her(it can be done) or kill her off. I think she chose to kill her off because there would be no way to be punished then for getting rid of her; Caylee honestly believed(believes?) that she would/will get away with killing Caylee with no consequences; that she had/has an air-tight alibi,left no evidence(no body=no evidence, going to her Mom and asking her to wash her clothing she was wearing that day Caylee went missing, bagging the 'horrible smelling liquid' in trash bags and storing it in the trunk of her car to dispose of later,etc.etc.etc.) ....

This is sort of ancient history, but do you remember that upscale guy who killed his wife with an ax after taking out a $500000 insurance policy, then stuffed her in a car and ran her off the road to make it look like an accident??
Yeah, it happened in Port Angeles, and most of us would rather be dead than in Port Angeles, but after all… So here’s a guy free as a breeze! At least Susan Smith is in jail, where she belongs- and hopefully comes to repentance.

10i have followed this case from the start and im trying to figure out the best sentence. death is what i feel is best but then she is stuck in her own cell away from all but if she gets life then she will be thrown in the general population and then she can deal with the hard core trash that may give her what she deserves. I would rather sit on death row and never have to worry about seeing anyone and ride out my time then be looking over my shoulder every minute. Its clear to me that the parents are so desperate to not lose another family member that they would keep their mouths shut, soo i ask you how crazy is the whole clam!!!!!!!
